¶01 The short answer
Ask every agency the same eight questions and ask to see proof for each answer: named results, published prices, how they test AI assistants, and who does the work. A good agency answers all eight in writing. This page is not a ranking. It is the checklist we would use ourselves.
We are an agency for ERP partners, so we have an interest. That is why we name no other agencies here. Use these questions on us too.
How to use them. Send the same eight questions to every agency on your list, in writing. Ask for the proof, not just the answer. Then put the replies side by side. Note anything an agency will say on a call but will not put in writing. That gap tells you a lot.
¶02 1. Do you work with NetSuite or ERP partners now?
Partner marketing is its own job. Buyers take months to decide, and much of the work runs alongside the vendor. An agency new to this will spend your money learning it. Ask what they already know about your buyers.
A good answer shows:
Named partner clients, shared with their permission, or anonymised case studies with real detail.
An understanding of how partners are bought: long cycles, several people involved, and referrals.
Knowledge of Oracle co-marketing and how it fits with your own marketing.
¶03 2. Can you show results in pipeline, not just traffic?
Traffic is easy to grow and easy to report. It does not pay the bills, and it can rise while enquiries stay flat. What matters is whether the right buyers get in touch, or put you on their shortlist.
A good answer shows:
Enquiries or shortlist appearances before and after the work.
The dates of each measure, and how it was taken.
¶04 3. How do you test whether AI assistants recommend us?
More buyers now ask an AI assistant who to talk to. One question to one assistant proves very little, because answers change from run to run. Ask how they would know if things got worse, not only better.
A good answer shows:
A written method: which assistants, which prompts and how often.
A dated baseline taken before any work starts, so later results can be compared with it.
¶05 4. Are your prices published?
If you have to book a call to learn the price, you cannot compare agencies fairly. Published prices also tell you what the agency thinks the work is worth, and make it easier to budget.
A good answer shows:
A price page or a written menu, in pounds.
What each price includes, and what costs extra.
¶06 5. What will you fix in the first 30 days?
The first month shows how an agency works. “Strategy” on its own is not an answer. You should be able to see something change.
A good answer shows:
A named list of fixes, such as page titles, service pages, proof and the sitemap. Our own list is in the 10 checks we run first.
Which of those you will be able to see on your site by the end of the month.
¶07 6. Who will actually do the work?
The person who pitches is not always the person who delivers. With AI tools now common, you should also know what a person writes and checks. Both matter for quality and for accuracy.
A good answer shows:
The named people on your account.
A clear statement of what is automated and what a person checks.
¶08 7. How will we know if it is not working?
Every agency plans for success. Ask how you will spot failure early, and how easy it is to leave if you need to.
A good answer shows:
Measures you agree before work starts.
A review date in the diary.
A notice period you can live with.
¶09 8. Do you publish rankings that put yourselves first?
Many “best agency” lists are written by an agency that ranks itself first. AI assistants read these lists too. It is fair to ask how any list was made, and who decided the order.
A good answer shows:
A clear explanation of how their lists were put together.
Or no self-ranked lists at all.
¶10 How we answer these
We are an agency for ERP partners, so we have an interest. Use these questions on us too.
Prices: published on plans and prices. The Visibility Review is free. Foundation is from £750 one-off. The AI Visibility Sprint is £1,950 fixed. Growth is £2,600 a calendar month. Thrive is £3,500 a month, and a one-month Pilot of Thrive is £3,500. Thrive Plus is £7,000 a month. Lead is from £9,500 a month.
AI testing: our free AI Visibility Checker reads your homepage and up to five key pages and runs our public checks. Our playbook sets out the method in more detail.
Focus: NetSuite and ERP partners, in the UK, priced in pounds. See NetSuite partner marketing.
Weighing an agency against a fractional CMO or an in-house hire? See agency, fractional CMO or in-house. Not sure where to start? Run the Enquiry Leak Finder first. It takes about three minutes and shows where enquiries may be slipping away.
