### The short answer

Partner directories and reviews can help, because assistants that search the web find and compare what other sites say about a firm. But no one outside the AI companies can see how much weight a directory carries. In our work, what matters more is whether your site, your directory listings and your LinkedIn tell the same, specific story. Every Visibility Review starts with your own site: whether it states those facts clearly and the same way across its pages.

### Why the question comes up

Buyers increasingly ask an AI assistant for a shortlist before they search. A finance director looking for a NetSuite partner can type one question and get three or four names back.

So partners want to know where that answer comes from, and whether an hour spent on an Oracle listing, a Clutch profile or a G2 page changes it. It is a fair question, and it deserves an honest answer rather than a sales pitch.

### What we can say with confidence

Assistants with web search pull from pages they can find and read. Directory and review pages are pages like any other. If an assistant can reach them, it can use what they say.

An assistant is more likely to repeat a fact it finds stated the same way in several places. Your platform, your location, the services you offer and the kind of firm you work with all count.

Conflicting facts give it less to go on. An old service still listed on a directory, the wrong platform on a review profile or a different town on LinkedIn all make the picture less clear. That is the part you can control.

### What nobody can tell you

Nobody outside the AI companies can tell you how much weight any single directory or review site carries in a given assistant. It is not published, and it changes.

So anyone who promises that getting on one site will make ChatGPT recommend you is guessing. We do not promise mentions, rankings or a place in any answer, and we would be wary of anyone who does.

### Where directories tend to matter for ERP partners

When we work with a partner, these are the third-party pages we look at first.

- **The vendor’s own partner listing.** For NetSuite, that is Oracle’s partner directory. It is often the most authoritative third-party statement that you are a partner at all. We check it matches your site.
- **Review and agency directories.** Clutch, G2 and similar sites are useful where they hold real, recent reviews. An empty profile adds little.
- **Your LinkedIn company page.** It is often the second place an assistant or a buyer checks, so its description should match your site.

We do not claim that any of these pages is cited for a particular question unless we have tested it.

### What matters more than another profile

- **Your own service pages**, stating platform, buyer, problem and location in plain words.
- **Named proof on your own site** that a third party can corroborate.
- **Facts that match everywhere**: site, directories and LinkedIn. For which directories to start with, and what each costs, see [where NetSuite and ERP partners can get listed](https://artifexa.co.uk/insights/where-erp-partners-get-listed/).

A new profile on a site you never update can add one more version of the facts to keep in line. Fixing the facts you already publish usually comes first. Our method for this sits in [the Visibility Framework](https://artifexa.co.uk/visibility-framework/), and the client work behind it is on [our case studies](https://artifexa.co.uk/case-studies/).

### How we check it

- The free [AI Visibility Checker](https://artifexa.co.uk/checker/) reads your homepage and up to five key pages and runs our public checks. No email needed.
- The free [Visibility Review](https://artifexa.co.uk/visibility-review/) looks at how your site shows up on Google and in AI answers, and flags facts that do not match across your pages, with the evidence and limits for each finding.
- On paid plans, AI visibility is tracked at the level shown on [Engagements](https://artifexa.co.uk/engagements/). Lead has weekly AI visibility tracking across ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Google AI Overviews and DuckDuckGo AI.

Asked and answered

### Your questions.

Should we pay for a premium directory listing?[+][−]

Only if the directory sends buyers on its own merit. We would not buy one for AI visibility alone.

Do reviews on Google Business Profile matter for an ERP partner?[+][−]

They can support trust for buyers. Their effect on AI answers is not published.

How do we see what assistants say about us now?[+][−]

Request the free Visibility Review. It looks at how your site shows up on Google and in AI answers.
